Egg Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    5 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 qt. chicken broth (approximately)
Preparation
    Add bay leaf and onion to water to boil chicken.
    Remove chicken when cooked.
