Chicken Teriyaki - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
1 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
Preparation

Mix together all ingredients, except chicken, in an 11 3/4 x 1 3/4-inch dish.
Add chicken and coat with sauce.
Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
Drain off most of the sauce.
Cover with foil.
Cook in hot oven until tender. Turn the chicken over and brush with drippings halfway through cooking.
Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
Serves 4 to 6.
