Caramel Layer Chocolate Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. lite caramels (50 pieces)
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. oleo, melted
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. nuts (your choice)
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels in milk; let cool.
    By hand, stir until dough holds together.
    Press 1/2 of dough into bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle chips and nuts over top of mixture.
    Spread caramel mixture over chips.
    Add the other 1/2 of dough on top. Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Cut into bars.
