Joyce'S Bread Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. finely chopped red onion
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    butter or margarine
    French bread (one long loaf)
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients in a small bowl.
    Cut the bread in half longways.
    Butter the bread.
    Spread the topping mixture evenly onto the buttered bread.
    Put bread on a cookie sheet and place under a hot broiler until brown and bubbly (approximately 1 minute).
    Watch it carefully as it burns easily.
    Slice into pieces and serve immediately.
