April'S Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into bits
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. ice water (more if necessary)
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine flour, butter, shortening and salt until mixture resembles meal.
    Add 2 tablespoons ice water, tossing mixture until water is incorporated.
    Add additional ice water, if necessary, to form a dough.
    Form dough into a ball; dust with flour and chill for 1 hour.
    Makes one 9-inch crust.
