Pork Chop Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 pork chops
    salt and pepper to taste
    salad oil
    1 (1 3/8 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Season chops with salt and pepper; brown on both sides in hot oil.
    Remove chops and add onion soup mix and water to pan drippings; bring to a boil.
