Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. quick cook oatmeal
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a saucepan, bring sugar, butter, cocoa, milk and nuts to a full boil.
Reduce heat and boil for 3 to 4 minutes (soft boil stage).
Remove from heat and add oatmeal and vanilla. Quickly drop onto waxed paper by teaspoon.
Let harden and refrigerate.
