Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, diced
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 c. water
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. Coffee-mate
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. can kernel corn, drained
Preparation
    Combine bacon and onion in large saucepan.
    Cook until bacon is crisp and onion tender.
    Blend in flour; cook 1 minute without browning.
    Add 2 cups water, potatoes, sage and bay leaf.
    Cover and cook until potato is tender (10 to 15 minutes).
    Remove bay leaf.
    Add creamer, 1 cup boiling water, cheese, corn and seasonings.
    Heat until boiling and cheese melts.
