Mocha Macadamia Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/3 c. instant coffee
    3 large eggs, slightly beaten
    3 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) bar semi-sweet chocolate, cut into chunks
    1 (7 oz.) jar Macadamia nuts
Preparation
    In
    a large bowl, beat together butter and sugars until fluffy.
    Dissolve coffee in eggs; beat into butter mixture.
    Add flour, baking soda and salt.
    Beat just until well combined.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Coarsely chop chocolate.
    Place Macadamia nuts in a strainer.
    Shake off excess salt.
    Stir into dough along with chocolate.
    Drop slightly rounded measuring tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden and firm in centers.
    Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Makes 5 dozen.
