Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beef soup bone (marrow)
    1 pot herb
    2 qt. cold water
    1 small onion, diced
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1/4 head cabbage, chopped
    1/4 c. barley or rice
    5 or 6 carrots, grated
    1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
    1 c. grated potato
    1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Cook bone, pot herb, water, onion and salt slowly for 2 hours. Add vegetables and continue cooking
    1 hour.
    Serves 8 to 10.
