Homemade Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Blend flour and shortening together.
    Add buttermilk; stir well.
    Put dough mixture on a floured surface; knead 2 or 3 times. Cut biscuits with biscuit cutter or a cup.
    Place biscuits on a greased pan; put a little melted shortening on top of biscuit. Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Remember, all ovens cook differently.
