Jane'S Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins(Servings: 24) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. butter or margarine (plus 2 Tbsp.)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Combine eggs, milk and corn syrup.
    Mix well.
    Add to the dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
    Fold in blueberries.
    Pour batter into greased muffin tins.
    Makes 1 1/2 to 2 dozen muffins, depending upon size of tin.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes or until muffins are golden brown.
