Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 c. buttermilk
2 to 3 bananas
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream
butter
and
sugar
until light and fluffy.
Add eggs to butter mixture and mix well.
Combine soda and buttermilk. Peel
bananas
and
pour
buttermilk mixture over them. Mash bananas in buttermilk.
Stir banana mixture into creamed mixture. Combine
baking
powder, salt and flour.
Stir flour mixture and vanilla into creamed mixture.
Pour into a greased 9 x
5
x 3-inch loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes or until
done. Cool
slightly;
remove
from
pan
and complete cooling on a wire rack.
