Hot Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sweet milk, scalded
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening (part butter, part Crisco)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cool, mashed potatoes
2 eggs, slightly beaten
yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
4 1/2 to 5 c. sifted flour
Preparation

To hot milk, add sugar, shortening, salt, potatoes and eggs. When mixture is lukewarm, add yeast and flour.
Knead well.
Cover and let rise until double in bulk.
