Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. baking molasses (Grandma's by Motts)
    2 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Work flour, sugar and margarine together into coarse crumbs. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of crumbs.
    Mix molasses, boiling water and soda; combine with remaining crumbs.
    Mix well.
    Batter will be thin.
    Pour into greased and floured sheet cake pan.
    Sprinkle the 1 1/2 cups of reserved crumbs over the top of the cake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
