Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage
    1 onion
    1 green pepper
    3 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Chop or grind cabbage and onion with green pepper.
    Sprinkle on salt.
    Pour boiling water over chopped vegetables.
    Set 1 hour. Drain.
    Combine sugar, vinegar, pimentos, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Set 24 hours.
    Store tightly covered in refrigerator until ready to serve.
