Mexican Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (12 oz.) jar salsa
    1 box taco shells
    1 can refried beans
    2 c. sour cream
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown ground beef and onions over medium heat.
    Drain excess fat.
    Add 1/2 cup salsa and stir. Spread 1/2 cup salsa on bottom of casserole dish.
    Arrange taco shells over salsa, overlap to fit.
    In layers, add refried beans, meat mixture, sour cream and Cheddar cheese.
    Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake 1/2 hour.
    Remove cover.
    Add remaining salsa, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes.
