Tomato Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain flour
    salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 can tomatoes, drained
    basil, chopped
    parsley, chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
Preparation
    Stir just until mixed.
    Drop by tablespoon into hot oil.
    Cook until brown on each side.
    May be served as a vegetable with meats or with cocktails as hors d'oeuvres.
