Frosted Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. margarine
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water
1/2 c. cocoa
buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.
Combine 1/2 cup margarine, shortening, water and 1/4 cup cocoa in saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Pour into flour mixture.
Add 1/2 cup of buttermilk, eggs, soda and 1 teaspoon of vanilla; mix well. Spread batter in greased 16 x 11 x 1-inch pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Combine remaining margarine and cocoa in saucepan. Add 1/3 cup buttermilk.
Bring to a boil.
Blend in confectioners sugar and remaining vanilla.
Pour over warm brownies.
