Amish Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    3 c. soft bread pieces
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    In small saucepan combine milk and butter; stir until butter is melted.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Combine eggs, sugar, salt and nutmeg.
    Beat at medium speed 1 minute.
    Stir in milk mixture. Place bread pieces in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with raisins.
    Add milk mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until mixture is set.
    Serve warm.
    Serves 6 to 8.
