"Mexican Macaroni" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box deluxe macaroni
    1 lb. mild or hot sausage
    1 onion
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    2 c. canned crushed tomatoes (one 15 oz. can)
    1 tsp. chili powder
    4 slices Kraft cheese (topping)
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Brown sausage, breaking it up as you fry it.
    Drain.
    Transfer to a large kettle.
    Add all ingredients except cheese slices and cheese from macaroni kit.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until macaroni is done.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in cheese from kit.
    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Top with cheese slices.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 until cheese melts, usually 6 to 8 minutes.
