Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. currants or raisins
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients and shortening.
Add egg and enough milk (3/4 cup) to make a little more wet.
Thaw pie crust.
Mix in other ingredients.
Roll on floured surface about 1/4 inch thick. Cook on griddle or electric fry pan until light brown on both sides.
Very good.
