Lovelight Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
3/4 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preparation

Beat egg whites until frothy.
Gradually beat in 1/2 cup of the sugar.
Continue beating until stiff and glossy enough to stand in peaks.
Sift remaining sugar, flour, soda and salt into another bowl.
Pour in oil and half the buttermilk.
Beat 1 minute at medium speed.
Scrape sides and bottom of bowl constantly.
Add remaining buttermilk, egg yolks and chocolate.
Beat 1 minute more.
Fold meringue into batter by cutting down gently through batter, across the bottom, up and over, turning bowl often.
Pour into greased and floured cake pans.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
