Corn Flakes Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dark syrup
    1 c. light cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 box (4 c.) corn flakes
    1 small box (6 or less c.) Rice Krispies
    1 c. nuts (pecans or peanuts)
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and cream to
    soft
    ball test in cold water. Remove from fire, add
    butter
    and vanilla.
    Pour over cereals and nuts, combined.
    In
    a
    big
    bowl, mix thoroughly; press into buttered pan.
    Cut in squares when cold.
