Chess Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks margarine
1 box light brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a saucepan on top of the stove, melt margarine over medium heat.
Next, add both brown and white sugars to margarine and continue to melt, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and stir in flour.
Add eggs, one at a time, and fold into mixture.
When well mixed, add flavoring and nuts by folding into mixture.
Pour mixture into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
This cake falls to make its wonderful taste.
Sometimes if it rises too much, bang the pan to help it fall.
Dust top with confectioners sugar.
Cool before cutting.
