Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 rounded Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 eggs, separated
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix sugar, cocoa, flour and salt.
Add 1/2 cup milk and 1 egg yolk.
Beat well.
Add other egg yolks and beat thoroughly, then add rest of milk.
Cook until thick.
Be sure to stir constantly. Cool and put in baked pie shell.
Make meringue out of 3 egg whites.
Beat until fluffy, then add 6 tablespoons sugar.
