Egg Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. butter, chilled
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg, lightly beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs.
    Stir in milk and egg.
    Place on floured surface.
    Knead 2 times and roll 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut with 2-inch cutter.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
