Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Mix molasses, sugar and oil.
Sift flour with spices.
Add eggs and beat, then add flour mixture.
Mix soda with boiling water and when dissolved, add to mixture immediately.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan for 40 minutes.
Serve with a vanilla sauce.
