Sky High Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 well beaten egg
    1/4 c. oil
    6 to 8 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add sugar, salt and egg.
    Add 3 cups of flour and work into sugar and yeast mixture.
    Add oil and 3 cups more flour.
    Turn onto floured board and knead, adding flour as needed to make rubbery consistency.
    Place in large bowl and cover with towel.
    Let raise 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Punch dough down and take small amounts and roll in balls.
    Place in greased baking dish.
    Brush oil on tops and let rise 3 hours.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until tops are lightly golden.
