Enchilada Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. chili powder
    1 can chili with water
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    18 tortillas (1 can)
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute ground beef and onions in a large skillet until beef is cooked and onions are tender.
    Add tomatoes, salt, chili powder; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Stir in 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
    Spoon a little beef mixture over bottom of a 2-quart casserole.
    Alternate layers of tortillas and chili, ending with tortillas.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce over top.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
