Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks (4 whites)
    3 1/2 Tbsp. hot water
    1 1/2 c. sweet potatoes, grated
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix oil and sugar well. Beat in egg yolks 1 at a time. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add oil, potatoes, pecans and hot water. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add to mixture and
    put in three 9-inch round baking pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake is done.
