Fried Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced okra
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. cornmeal
vegetable oil
Preparation

Combine okra, milk and seasonings in a shallow dish.
Let stand for 1 hour or until most of milk is absorbed.
Dredge in cornmeal.
Fry in vegetable oil.
Makes 4 servings.
