12 Day Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage
1 medium green pepper
2 medium onions
3 or 4 small carrots
3 or 4 stalks celery
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 c. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation

Shred cabbage and chop pepper, onions, carrots and celery. Stir together.
Make syrup of sugar, oil, vinegar, celery seed and salt.
Just bring to boil and immediately pour over vegetables. Chill overnight before serving.
This keeps for 12 days in refrigerator.
Very tasty and handy.
