Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stewing beef, cut up and seasoned with tenderizer, pepper and teriyaki
    1 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 small can tomato sauce
    cleaned and cut celery, onions, carrots and potatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 can water
Preparation
    Cover bottom of pot with oil; add the bacon fat and butter or margarine.
    Saute onion. Add meat. Stir until brown. Add small can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water. Add celery and carrots. Simmer 1/2 hour.
    Add potatoes and simmer another 1 hour.
    Add peas.
