Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. instant coffee crystals
2 tsp. boiling water
1 1/4 c. flour
1 egg
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips in microwave.
Dissolve instant coffee in boiling water.
Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar and coffee.
Add egg and melted chocolate chips; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and walnuts.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
