Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco oil
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Beat first 4 ingredients until fluffy.
    Add eggs, salt and vanilla; mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Refrigerate 3 or 4 hours or overnight.
    Roll into balls (the size of a walnut); roll in sugar.
    Press or place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Let cool for couple of minutes before removing from the cookie sheet.
    Makes 8 dozen.
