Apple Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 unbeaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    2 medium apples, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Combine walnuts, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla; beat until blended.
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
    Spread half of batter in greased 9-inch tube pan.
    Top with 1 apple and half of walnut mixture.
    Top with rest of batter and add 1 sliced apple and remaining walnut mixture.
    Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes or until done.
    Let stand on wire rack for 30 minutes and remove to serving plate.
