Chorizo Tortilla Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. chorizo (sausage)
    1 medium onion
    5 (6 inch) corn tortillas
    1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes and green chiles
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato juice
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. Monterey Jack cheese
    fresh cilantro or parsley
Preparation
    Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 50 minutes or until heated through.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake uncovered for 2 to 3 minutes more.
    Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired. Servings:
