Fried Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined, leaving end part of shell on
    1 large egg
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    2 c. fine bread crumbs
    salt and black pepper to taste
    cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    In medium bowl,
    beat
    egg,
    adding evaporated milk and water. Split each
    shrimp
    two-thirds
    of its length.
    Season generously with the
    salt, black pepper and cayenne.
    Dip each shrimp in the egg
    batter,
    then
    roll
    in
    flour,
    dip in egg batter again and roll in bread crumbs.
    Heat oil in a deep fat fryer to 375\u00b0 and fry
    for
    3
    to
    4
    minutes.
    Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite sauce.
