Colcannon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cabbage and potatoes, cooked separately
    2 small green onion tops
    1 c. milk or cream
    1/2 c. butter
    salt, pepper and a pinch of mace
Preparation
    Chop the cooked cabbage.
    Chop up onion tops and simmer them in milk to just cover until they are soft.
    Drain and mash the potatoes.
    Season and beat well.
    Then add cooked leeks and milk.
