Field Mice Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 nice plump field mice, cooked and deboned
    1 qt. mixed vegetables
    1 medium onion
    1 qt. potatoes, cubed
    1 large pinch salt
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients together and place in a casserole lined with pie dough.
    Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
    If no field mice are available, 1 pound of pork sausage may be used. This recipe was taken from an old pioneer cookbook.
