Tex-Mex Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 c. canned tomatoes, drained
    salt and pepper to taste
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cut cabbage in small pieces. Cook about 10 minutes or until tender, but crisp.
    Put in greased casserole. Saute onion and green pepper in melted margarine; add sugar.
    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Pour mixture over cabbage.
    Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 until heated thoroughly.
    Makes approximately 8 servings.
