Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    6 tsp. cornstarch
    1 c. 7-Up
    dash of salt
    4 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 baked deep-dish pie shell
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook sugar, cornstarch, 7-Up and salt until clear. Add Jell-O. Cool. Fold in strawberries. Pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate. Serve with Cool Whip.
