Sweet-N-Sour Sauce With Pork Chicken Or Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple in juice
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    3 tsp. vinegar
    1 lb. pork, chicken or shrimp
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 tsp. oil
    other vegetables (optional)
Preparation
    Combine juice from pineapple with cornstarch, water, brown sugar, ginger, soy sauce and vinegar in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens.
    Set aside.
    Cut meat into 1-inch cubes, brown meat with garlic and onoin in 3 teaspoon oil. Stir in vegetables and stir-fry.
    Pour sauce over meat and vegetables and serve over rice.
