Garden New Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
1 1/2 lb. new potatoes, peeled (about 24 potatoes)
12 pearl onions, peeled
3/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/4 c. minced fresh parsley
Preparation

Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet.
Add potatoes and onions to bacon drippings. Cook over high heat until lightly browned. Drain excess bacon drippings. Add chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add mushrooms and cook, uncovered, over high heat, stirring constantly, until liquid evaporates.
Stir in bacon, salt, pepper and parsley.
