Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    6 beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    stale bread
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cut bread in chunks and pieces and put in a buttered casserole dish or buttered 9 x 13 pan.
    Cream sugar and butter; add eggs.
    Mix thoroughly and add remaining ingredients.
    Pour over bread and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Stir after first hour.
    Serve warm with ice cream and caramel sauce.
