Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream sugars and shortening in mixer bowl.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt 3 times.
    Add to creamed mixture, alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
    Mix in vanilla.
    Pour into greased Bundt pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool.
    Invert onto serving plate.
    Yield:
    12 servings.
