Toasted Coconut Cream Cheese Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. flaked coconut
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. milk
2 c. flaked coconut, toasted
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in thick skillet.
Add coconut and stir over low heat until golden brown.
Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
Cream 2 tablespoons butter and cream cheese together. Add milk.
Beat in sugar gradually.
Blend in vanilla.
Stir in 1 3/4 cups toasted coconut.
Spread on top of cake layers.
Sprinkle remaining coconut on top.
