Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fresh or canned corn
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of paprika
    1 egg white, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Chop corn; drain.
    Add beaten egg yolks.
    Sift flour with salt, baking powder and paprika; stir in corn mixture.
    Fold in the stiffly beaten egg white; dip batter by teaspoonful and slide into heated oil with the heat control at 375\u00b0.
    Fry until medium brown for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Drain and serve.
