Mock Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. corn syrup
    2 eggs
    1 c. quick-cook oatmeal
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add sugar and syrup.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Add oatmeal and vanilla.
    Mix well and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325\u00b0 until filling is firm.
